George Ernst, Racine, Wisconsin native, describes his World War II experiences in the European Theater as a second lieutenant pilot with the 3rd Division, 96th Bomber Group, 337th Squadron of the Army Air Corps.

George Ernst, (b. 1923) served as a World War II second lieutenant pilot with the Army Air Corps. Ernst served in the European Theater becoming a business owner and marring a veteran after the war.
